What we fix
A garage door is a counterbalance system. The springs carry the weight, the cables transmit it, the track constrains the path, and the opener only provides direction and overcomes friction. Almost every failure we are called to is one component in that chain reaching the end of its service life, and almost every expensive outcome is a small failure that was run for another six months. Our job on the first visit is to tell you which component actually failed and what it will take to correct it.
Garage Door Repair
A single visit that identifies which component actually failed, then repairs that component instead of replacing parts on a guess.
Learn moreGarage Door Installation
New door selection and installation measured to your actual opening, with the counterbalance calculated for the finished door weight.
Learn moreGarage Door Maintenance
A scheduled service that rebalances the counterbalance, retensions hardware loosened by vibration, and resets the opener's safety systems.
Learn moreCommercial Garage Doors
Service and installation for sectional, rolling steel, and high cycle commercial openings, scheduled around the hours your operation can afford to lose.
Learn moreGarage Door Opener Repair
Diagnosis of the motor, drive, logic board, limits, and safety sensors, with the door's balance checked first because an unbalanced door is what kills openers.
Learn moreBroken Spring Repair
Replacement of torsion or extension springs sized to the measured weight of your door, with both springs replaced together rather than one at a time.
Learn moreBroken Cable Repair
Replacement of frayed or snapped lift cables, with the drum seating and cable tension reset so the door lifts square rather than crooked.
Learn moreOff-Track Repair
Getting a derailed door back into its tracks safely, then correcting whatever put it there so it does not repeat.
Learn morePanel Repair
Section repair or replacement for dented, cracked, or impact damaged panels, with an honest read on whether a single section is still available for your door.
Learn moreWhy us
Why homeowners call us back
We diagnose before we quote
The visit begins with the opener released and the door lifted by hand, because a balance test tells a technician more in ten seconds than watching the door run for five minutes. Only after the counterbalance, cables, rollers, track, and opener have been checked in order do we give you a number, and the number comes with the reasoning attached.
Parts are sized, not guessed
Springs are selected by wire diameter, inside diameter, length, and wind direction against the measured weight of your door. A spring that is close enough will operate the door on the day it is installed and will burn through its cycle life early. That distinction is invisible from the driveway and it determines how long the repair lasts.
We tell you when not to repair
Track that has been folded rather than bent will never carry a roller cleanly. Sections with cracked steel around the hinge plates will keep tearing out. Three damaged sections on a five section door costs about what a new door costs. We would rather say that on the first visit than sell two repairs on the way to the same conclusion.
Safety systems get tested every time
Two independent systems are supposed to stop a closing door: photo eyes mounted within six inches of the floor, and the opener's own force sensing reversal. Both drift out of adjustment over years, and both get tested before we leave. Raising close force until a door stops reversing is not a repair; it is the removal of a safety device.
Free estimates, given on site
On site estimates cost nothing. We generally will not quote a firm price by phone beyond straightforward spring and cable work, because too many symptoms have several possible causes, and a blind number is either padded to cover the worst case or revised upward once we arrive.
Same day service where the schedule allows
The truck carries the springs, cables, drums, rollers, hinges, and common opener parts that cover the large majority of residential failures, so most repairs are completed on the first visit. When a part has to be ordered we tell you at the diagnosis rather than after.

How it works
What happens when you call
Call and describe it
Tell us what you heard, where in the travel the door stops, and whether it moves freely by hand. Those three answers usually identify the failed system before dispatch, which is how the right parts end up on the truck.
On site diagnosis
Opener released, door lifted by hand, counterbalance and cables inspected, track and rollers checked, opener tested for drive, limits, force, and sensors. We show you what we found.
Written price, then a decision
You get the full cost of parts and labor with the reason each item is on the list. If part of the work can reasonably wait, we say which part and how long.
Repair
Most work is completed the same visit. Spring and cable work is performed with the door secured, the opener disconnected, and tension released in a controlled sequence before any loaded bracket is touched.
Cycle test and handover
The door runs a full set of cycles while we watch for hesitation. Travel and force are reset, the photo eyes and contact reversal are tested, and we walk you through the manual release before we leave.
